Bruce Springsteen – ‘Rosalita’ live

I’ve been listening to Bruce Springsteen recently so I thought I’d share a clip that is probably my favourite live clip by anyone. I’m not sure that Springsteen’s somewhat serious, brooding image does justice to his live performances, which are always packed with energy and fun. It’s all here in this epic and exhuberant performance of Rosalita from 1978 – the whole band play asses off and the boss himself gets mobbed by admiring girls from the front row. He fully deserves it.

    Such a great song!!!

  2. Wow, what a great clip! Funny thing is I only live about 10 miles away from Freehold, where Bruce grew up. And I go to Asbury Park all the time (it’s only a half-hour drive away). And yet have never seen him live in concert. Isn’t that stooopid?

Thanks for sharing. I bet if someone did a Venn diagram of our musical tastes, there’d be like a 80% overlap, which is cool.
